After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on this blanket. It is impossible to find the proper bedspread size anymore, Most are the size of a throw blanket as is this blanket. After reading the measurements I knew a KING would have to be ordered for my Victorian Twin bed, It's perfect and is still 5 inches off the floor on both sides. I was using an electric throw to keep warm without turning on the stove. This has eliminated the need for the electric throw and 2 other flimsy blankets I had on the bed. This King is only 87 inches Wide and 90 inches Long. A standard size King blanket is from 102" to 108" inches wide to 100" long. This is only 2 " bigger than a full size blanket that is standard 85" wide and 90" long. If you have a king bed I would say this is not going to work. However I love it on my Twin. I hope it holds up with a hefty price tag. If it does it will have been worth every penny.
